The Juvenile Electronic Monitoring Unit transports juveniles who have been released from the Juvenile Detention Facility and other secured juvenile county placement providers by court order into home placement through the CAFS Detention Alternatives Unit (DAU). While in home placement, the juveniles are placed on home detention and monitored through radio frequency electronic monitoring (tether).
