Chance for Life (CFL)

The Chance for Life Organization (CFLO) has been implemented in the community and correctional facilities throughout the State of Michigan since 1992.  The mission of CFLO a Detroit Jail Based Project (DJBRP) is to assist 150 inmates that are Michigan Department of Correction Parolees transform into responsible and productive citizens that will also achieve emotional and economic self-sufficiency.  This programs core curriculum focuses on attitude/cognitive behavioral modification, conflict resolution/anger management along with job readiness and retention.

David Adams is a graduate of the Detroit Jail Based Project and has completed all phases including: conflict resolution, anger management, attitude and behavioral assessment and job readiness and retention. Mr. Adams was released from jail and reunited with his wife Christie and five children who willingly accepted him back into their home.

Mr. Adams has attended the Chance For Life (CFL) pro-social peer group meetings and recently hired at Southwest Metals. Congratulation David Adams!
