Undersheriff Daniel Pfannes was presented with an award at the Michigan Sheriffs Association's Fall Professional Development Conference. The award was the 2019 President's Award given "For Outstanding Leadership, Dedication, and Service to the Office of Sheriff and the Michigan Sheriffs Association." The award was presented to Undersheriff Pfannes by MSA President Pete Wallin, the Emmet County Sheriff.
Undersheriff Daniel Pfannes has been an active member of the association for the past 12-1/2 years and also serves on the Legislative Committee, the Professional Development Conference Committee, and the MSA Subcommittee of the Michigan Joint Task Force on Jail and Pretrial Incarceration.
